I love sending little notes to all of my special peeps and it's fun to drop them into the kiddos' lunch boxes...but lately, my favorite thing to do of all, is to leave them in a random spot for someone to find. It is my hope that it will brighten their day in some way. These little ribbon notes are a great way to use up scraps and add a touch of color to a strangers world.
I cut all of my assorted scraps to varying sizes. I let some overhand the water color paper and I cut a few to be shorter than the width of the page. I love the assortment of sizes, shapes and textures, not to mention all that color! Using the variegated rainbow thread made everything really pop off the paper too!
I will keep stitching these up until I have a nice little bundle to pack up and take with me into town. I like to leave them behind in all my favorite haunts, like my local coffee shop, the post office, the stationers and the library. Do you ever pay it forward with love and color? I would love to hear all about it! Happy creating!
