Art Marks - Days 1-5

Hello Fellow Mark Makers! I hope that this first week of the  30 day challenge was a creative one for you all. I am having the best time creating my own unique marks in a cute little hand bound journal I made just for the challenge. My book only measures about 3.5 inches by 4 inches and the pages are a fun and random assortment of scraps, including canvas, tags, book paper and even fragile vintage papers.. My favorite thing about the journal itself? Each page is a different size and so I can see the previous days marks peeking through when I turn the page. What kind of journal are you working in for this challenge?

I know it has only been a few days,  but this is what the challenge has taught me so far. One, I love working small. It is so rewarding. I don't have to worry about having hours to create, a few minutes is all I need. Two, this mark making has spurred my journaling habits. I am not exactly sure why but I am finding myself writing things down and I like it. And three, I LOVE MARK MAKING!!! Who is with me on this?

I hope you are enjoying this exercise in finding your own unique marks. I can't wait to see what you are creating. Don't forget to use the hashtag below on Instagram so we can share with and inspire one another. Want to join in? It is never too late. Get all the details HERE.
